Right As Rain

Long ago and far away someone wrote a message on a wall
Said true love is some magic place you fall
Where hearts are all you see and your
Lover spends his days on bended knee
And that may be
But our love don’t look much like that, we’ve got storm clouds buildin’ all around
And sometimes it shakes us up when the sky falls down
But we just keep holdin’ tight
And it don’t matter, that wind can howl all night
We’ll still be alright
Right as rain fallin’ down on a day we were looking for sun
We’ll just take the bad like we take the good, you know they both were bound to come
Ain’t no perfect life, but honey we can’t complain
Our love is as right as rain.
Romance ain’t a handsome prince, true love don’t sweep in and save the day
My hero is the one who’s here to stay
With long talks in the night
And making love and sipping coffee in the morning light
Hey, now, that’s alright
Right as rain fallin’ down on a day we were looking for sun
We’ll just take the bad like we take the good, you know they both were bound to come
Ain’t no perfect life, but honey we can’t complain
Our love is as right as rain.
When I’ve got nothing to believe in
And it seems anything can change
All I need to know is rain or hail or sleet or snow
Your love will stay the same
Right as rain fallin’ down on a day we were looking for sun
We’ll just take the bad like we take the good, you know they both were bound to come
Ain’t no perfect life, but honey we can’t complain
Our love is as right as rain.
